Frank, I hope to spot you at the parade. I'm marching/dancing with Shot of Scotch (and students) and Celtic Cross. At night I'll be ushering at the NYC Tattoo.
It will be a lot of fun this weekend!

Boy Bonnie, it sure would be great to meet you! We're meeting Campbell Clan friends at the St. Andrew's Restaurant about 11 and will be there until the parade starts. One of my friends and fellow St. Andrew's Society of Albany members is also the regional director for Clan Campbell Society and invited us to march with the Clan. I have no idea where we'll be in the parade, but at this point have no plans for right after the parade other than catching a bite to eat at some point. We won't be attending the Tattoo, as we have to be at the Jacob Javits Center by 8 to catch our bus home. I'll keep an eye out for you as well. I also have decided to wear that 8 yard wool kilt you made for me.
Gail & I are sure looking forward to it. Take care, and thanks.

There are a lot of events tomorrow, so many that I really think that they are competing with each other in a way.
I was going to try and make the church service, but it is a ticketed event and I am working midnight's tonight so I have to sleep a little in the morning before heading to the city. Then there is the parade, then the party at Desmond's which cost $40. I did not get a ticket to the tattoo as that was another $45 and is at the same time as the end of the party. I may try to grab a ticket at the door of the tattoo but I may not. I would love to go but it was going to be a choice of one or the other and I have enjoyed the post parade party in previous years.
As for attire, I think you will see a wide range because people will be going to the parade, then the party then the tattoo. You may even see some folks that were at the road race. If I do make all of that, I will be coming in on the train and have to find some sort of happy medium as I will have nowhere to change or store other clothes.
This morning's NY weather report had it sunny and in the 60's tomorrow. Although it will cool down at night I am sure.

@ AFS1970 Some of us will be on the train arriving at Grand Central at 11:41. It departs Stamford at 10:49 AM. We will then be going to the Perfect Pint on 45 Street just west of 6th Ave. That's half a block from where the parade kicks off. You can march with us if you would like to.

Thanks Allen! Here's one of just me. Tattersall shirt, regimental tie, 8 yard wool kilt (by Bonnie!), gray wool waistcoat (USA Kilts!), gray (multi-colored) Harris Tweed kilt jacket (VMac did for me!), my Rob Roy sporran, my best cream hose, and buckled loafers. And that great new burgundy bonnet I just got.
Cheers!

I just noticed the handkerchief in the jacket breast pocket. I think it coordinates nicely with the tie and that burgundy bonnet.
