Well, kids are definitely more blatant with their reactions, whether positive or negative. I was at the mall a couple days ago, where most adults were pretending not to notice me, but a couple kids (probably around 10-12 years old) looked at me with great big smiles on their faces.

Later, I overheard one woman explaining to another, "He's wearing a kilt, and I rather like it."

    Philbo,

I do like those overheard remarks, it does my heart good, and gives me another smile.

Me too, GMan. I think she intentionally said it just loud enough for me to hear it, but just quiet enough that she wasn't obviously trying to get my attention.

I took a couple of patients to a car boot yesterday and had a guy on a stall say, 'that's a very cool kilt', and one young lady who turned to her Mum and said in the 'meant to be overheard voice', 'I like it, it really suits him'. All good.
A surprising event turned out to be 2 young men 18/20 who, as I glanced back, were heads together sniggering, I assumed they were making fun of the guy in the kilt, but NO, one began to mimic the walk of one of my patients who has severe Parkinsons as a side effect of his drugs.
Whoever dragged that pair up, should have been sterilised
The patient in question is an ex military guy (paramedic) who is only in my care due to the trauma he witnessed in sevice.

Rhino, those lads also suffer from being dead from the neck up, hard to know how they can be treated. Sterilisation may be a start.

Thorazine, but I'm starting to feel a bit uncomfortable regarding confidentiality so no offense but I'll not comment on that particular person agaain, the only reason I did comment in the first place, was, I couldn't believe the attitude displayed.
Interestingly the opposite can happen and anti parkinson drugs can induce psychosis.
