New Sporran from Daughter's Discarded Purse

Basic project using an old blue-gray purse from my daughter. It has some extra seams where the front and back of the purse were pieced, but it cut out and sewed up OK. I decided to edge lace the flap to smooth it up a bit.

Buttons are from a bit of Whitetail antler from a few years back.

Much better job than the purse I recycled into a sporran. But it got me to thinking ( a dangerous circumstance at best)about other ones I can make. Well done and appreciated.

Thanks, and you're right, it absolutely should be utilized! Some of the leather in lady's purses is really high quality.
