That's how I felt about my USA KILT, it just didn't have the proper swing and was to stiff & ridged. I ended up selling it online and lost a little money, but oh well.
My Sport Kilt gets regular wear at our local pub and best of all...my wife LOVES it!

Sport Kilt
I have sport kilt and often wear on my sports day in Lancaster and it did great. I feel comfortablean easy to wear, easy to maintain kilt and its light weight is a good selling point for summers here in the south.

I own a SportsKilt. I actually like it. I got the Gunn Ancient Tartan and for what it is it's good. They're Acrylic not wool and they use velcro. Also their Clan coverage is a bit light. The thing you need to be careful of is they say their standard length is good for most. That is not quite true. I've a few go below the knee

The weather gets very hot and humid here, for which the SportKilt is ideal. OTOH, I wouldn't wear it in today's weather, in the low 40s, 'cos I'd freeze, LOL!
