It'd be a blast if we can be the Celtics army at the Rapids home games. I really dig that idea.

I am free this Saturday, all day & Sunday after Noonish. Apl 4 after 4:00PM. April 18 & 25 all day & again Sunday's after about noon. I am open to discuss weekday evenings.
But again - should we move this discussion?

I'd suggest to keep this thread up and running to allow the fellow Denverities/Coloradans that haven't seen this thread yet, and check in.
1. Having our unofficial meetings in here as we prepare for our first gathering in our sweet kilts.
2. Superdan mentioned the Colorado Rapids soccer games. While their home game is on May 28th. We are not ready for that.. However, their next home game is on April 4th, 18th, and 24th at 5pm, 6pm, and 8pm respectfully. We can vote to target one of those dates. There's more home games in from May to Oct. The tickets are pretty cheap.
3. Maybe we can contact the couple of the Celtics pubs to see which one is right for us. I mean a pub that is friendly to the kilties, and maybe give us some specials deals on the beers to make it our headquarter?
4. While I'm a bookkeeper... I do work at a restaurant on the weekends till 4ish on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays as well as Thursdays occasionally. I'm not concerned about the timing/scheduling to meet up at this moment. We will figure it out.
Just my thoughts.

I like soccer & have yet to get to a Rapids game. So that is something I'd like to do.
Personally like your idea of meeting for a burger & a brew first so we can simply sit down & get to know each other. Your idea of a Celtic themed pub is perfect. What do you other guys think?

I'm down for the fourth! I don't really have any info on any of the Celtic pubs, but that sounds like an awesome idea! Also, I'm not sure it'll work as an official "mile-high meetup" but I'm gonna be going to a couple rugby matches on Sat 28th at Infinity Park in Glendale. Barbarians vs. Santa Monica @ 1:00 and Raptors vs. San Francisco @ 3:00. It'll be my first chance to strut around in my new kilt!

Let's try to make this work. Superdan, you say the 4th is ok for you. I am working at my volunteer gig, but not late in the day. I think I am free after 16:00. Gentlemen, chime in.

Good to talk to you again, and hear that you are starting up a group there in the Denver area.
For those interested in the original Dead Elvis Kilt Society, the address is: www.deadelviskiltsociety.com.
This year was the 42 annual parade and we had a good showing there.

Hi buddy! We started the DEKS with only a few. I hope the 5 of us can become a good representation of XMarks in Denver. So far it looks like we are perhaps getting together on the 4th of April somewhere downtown.
By the way ..... I am trying to find the "e" version of the DEKS clan badge for you. I think McMurdo designed it. When we in Denver settle on a name & slogan we are going to need one for ourselves too.
