How many kilts do you own? The average Scottish man?

I've finally added the Scottish National to my kilt collection and have nine! How many does the average Scottish own? Yourself?

At a guess probably none, but possibly one. Me? Two, in the same Clan tartan.

As an average the ownership of kilts will be down in the decimal places, None of my male Scottish relatives own one, and this will be the case for the majority of men in Lowland and Highland Scotland. If you include the Gold brothers / Lidl 4 yard Pakistan made kilt often worn to international rugby and football matches, then the percentage will be slightly higher but still in the decimal places.

The great majority of people in Scotland or the rest of the UK for that matter, don't own a hand made Saxon suit, so they are definitely not going to buy a hand made Wool 8 yard Kilt.

Myself I have one PV 8 yard kilt, I'll be buying another of those soon, but am saving for a 8 yard wool kilt in either another of my family tartans or the Royal Air Force tartan.
