Salado Scottish Festival

Clan Dunbar will be there and have our AGM at the event. The organizers have granted us Honored Clan status and our Chief of Name, Sir James Dunbar 14th Bt. of Mochrum, and Lady Dunbar will lead the parade. I am the new Chieftain and since I'm in Texas I got to pick the site of this year's AGM. I really look forward to this event. It seems to be keyed to Clan history and genealogy. Our HQ is the Inn on the Creek B&B on the South bank of the river. This is my first shot at convening and hope to get it right. Last year our AGM was at Longs Peak and I was blown away by the games there. The heavy jousting was stunning. We had about 40 attend from our Clan last year and I think we will have about the same this year. I understand that since the festival ground are on School District property that they will not have alcohol sales. There are breweries at the beginning of the parade route though and we should survive. Last year we had scotch tasting in our booth with a dozen single malts. I look forward to meeting X-Marks the Scot members.

We look forward to meeting you, too, as I hope the others don't mind me speaking for them. Though, I suspect that you will be VERY busy with your Clan Chief present.

Yes, but if no cameras are available or unbroken, perhaps Shaun Maxwell (or is it Max Shaunwell?) can draw a quick sketch of us all.

Which round munchies are you referring too? The scotch eggs (sort of roundish) or the cookies?
She almost always brings cookies, but of course the new kitchen is very small so....
Now that we are in the Barndo, anyone interested in four bedroom home in a very nice neighborhood in Hewitt?
