I just picked up a Black Workman's off this list. They are going to ship it out on Monday. The Workman was their window display, so the the colour is faded in the front.
so by the end of the month, I should have my first Workman's.
If you don't mind losing the logo in back, you can dye the kilt. I've used RIT dye on mine a couple of times, but now I just leave it faded since it's my every-day knock-around kilt.
Some people say that RIT isn't the best dye, so check around. I've also heard of someone coating the logo with wax before dying the kilt. I don't know if that would actually work, anc then you have to get rid of the wax.
If you did rub wax over the logo to save it, it should come out easily if you press over lightly with a warm iron with a paper towel or brown paper between. It soaks up the wax well.(Works too for spills on the carpets!!!

The UPs Guy delivered my new workman's yesterday and I am impressed. It fits well and it is heavier than my original. I love it!! and the best part is that, the Jonesing period is under 2 weeks!!
Uncle Otto was spot on the fading. But it is no big deal to me. This kilt isn't going to fancy dinner parties. The fading actually made the kilt have the Weathered look.
For some reason, I was having a punk rock feeling after I put it on. Needless to Say, Sex Pistol went into the CD player!!! Now, I just need a pair of New Rock Boots to go with my kilts. My wife has approved the purchase, as long as she gets one as well. Now, It is up to my banker's approval for this budget.
