Hello from Northern New England
Hi all,
I'm currently waiting on my first kilt in over three decades. I played pipes as a kid, into high school, and had to stop in college and afterwards for a few reasons. But I've been re-connecting with that part of my life, and finding out that there's a lot of support out there for people like me.
Kilt is 8 yard/13 oz in Leaping Salmon, knife pleats to the stripe. Being patient is hard, but worth it

Proud member of the Clans Urquhart and MacKenzie.

Welcome from North Carolina. I’m someone who used to play the pipes, but am no longer able to. So now I just listen. My wife can’t understand how I can turn on pipe music full blast and take a nap.

Hello from metro Boston! if you ever find yourself down this way, I'll stand a pint or dram at The Haven, Boston's Scots pub.

Does this establishment ever have live music or sessions? I travel to Boston on a regular basis, and it would be fun to find a Scottish session as a change from the Irish scene.

They haven't spun up music events since moving into their new place, but they used to. If they bring it back, I will let you know!
