Actually this is me committing a whole bunch of DON'Ts. So I post this for your amusement at my expense.
But it was too hot and humid for hose and broags, and I had drunk enough to think that the leather cutoff was a good match..
(And I'm sure you'll find a few more DON'Ts I didn't think of.)
But I was wearing a kilt and was having fun doing so.
Oh well...

Man, I see a whole lot of DO's there! I love the look of the leather vest with the kilt. I have been wanting to get a new one myself. I used to have a nice black suede vest, but I outgrew it. There's nothing at all wrong with wearing a kilt with sandles so long as your not also wearing... say... an Argyle jacket with it as well. sandles and a t shirt work well. That's the beauty of the kilt- even the contemporary ones. They can be dressed up or down to accomodate the situation. I think brogues may have been a little too dressed up for that little party anyways!

Good point. I did consider wearing a T shirt, but I thought the grandfather shirt looked better. However I will have another think about it.
I used to be skinny when I was younger, but alas no more. So I'll have to make do with what I've got.

Hamish posted elsewhere recently that he has his website up and the Kilt Kollection [http://www.kiltedhamish.net/gallery/main.php section is well populated and documented. I would look through the Kilt Kollection Katalogue for the tartan du jour ith: :blimp:

It's because he looks at home in the kilt. That didn't happen by wearing a kilt once. I try to kilt up as often as possible, and it'll take me some time to get that certain je ne sais quoi.

Granted, but the smile makes it. He is having fun and you can see it. Note; if you want to have a good response to your pictures, SMILE!

I've concluded that some people have the inability to coordinate and dress themselves, regardless if it involves a kilt or not.
