Using Alan H's guide, create an Xkilt and matching Xskirt. Dress toddler in "tartan" spring dress.

I made this for my fiance. It's 17" long from about an inch above her navel. She really likes it - and I happen to really love it on her.

Very nice look Cynthia. Beware leaving the kilt pin attached all the time that it does not snag in the closet, or disfigure the apron. You are correct, the black top goes very nicely with the green kilt.

I have a very similar picture. I think it's at home.

Very nice ladies. We've got a picture with them on their myspace account also.

Hey! Where was I when this picture was taken!?

Maybe I was off riding dinosaurs with the children?

I was a bit too conservatively dressed that day I guess. I had just finished altering this skirt (in the Hunter tartan, which we thought was the same as the Galbraith, but isn't).

    Front:

    Pleats:

Note how it does not quite match Panache's Galbraith tartan, but at least the colors match:

Now that I know about the "other women", I guess I'll have to stop wearing skirts below the knee.

    Be well,

I posted a wee while back about buying Diane some tartan skirts.
Well, one of them, and it was sheer luck, was a ladies Kilted skirt in the Macdonald modern dress tartan.
Since we got married she's made it evident that she wants things in her new tartan, so I thought she would appreciate this.
Well, it arrived with her a few days ago and she emailed me some pictures today.

I am a VERY lucky, happy and proud man.
So here's my very own lovely, red-haired lass and her new skirt.

She looks great, Arlen! What a lucky lady to have such a wonderful gift. I'm sure she'll wear it proudly
