edit: never mind. The bells are too tapered to be Lawrie which are fairly straight-sided

The shape of them I'm not sure.

The colour of them I have seen. It was a WWI set of Hendersons which had been sitting unplayed since the owner died in 1928. He was a piper in the Royal Scots, and the pipes had their full bag dressings, ribbons and all.

Oddly they had been sitting in their OPEN case all those years. For whatever reason the widow never thought to close it.

The sides of all the ivory mounts which had been aiming skyward had been strangely discoloured, while the sides which had been aiming downward were a normal ivory colour.

What we don't know about this Ebay set is which of the four sizes that old pipemakers made this set is.

Look like Fred Morrison (McCallum) smallpipes.

Owner says he doesn't know the make, but you can see what looks like "Fred Morrison" on the chanter.

$750 is a really good price for these. I wonder what they'll go for.

$500 Buy It Now for a set of Highland pipes.

As is often the case, the seller has a number of photos but they're all taken from the same angle, so one photo would have done.

I just can't tell from the photos whether this is a legit pipe or a Pakistani pipe. A view of one of the drone tops would have really helped.
