    Dude, welcome to the board!

I was doing business in Charlotte last year, and wore my kilt around town to two Irish Pubs and a "Men's Club" with some business associates. They were QUICKLY sold on the "power of the kilt" once they saw the ladie's reactions.

The kilt exposure down there seems to be pretty new to them, so have fun with the education!

    Welcome to the board Enzayer!

Kiltedmusiclover - I have actually been to Lake Lure - my old college roommate's parents built a retirement home there.

I remember a good dinner buffet at the golf club - but what a tough course!!

You are right on both points.
    They serve great food
which is excellent since the course can eat you alive.
It's still one of my favorite courses to play.
