Well, because I can and because they are more stylish than any pair of pants Ive ever seen.

This pretty much mirrors my own feelings but I would add that my wife likes it and I like the way I look in it.

I confess, I'd wear a chicken suit if it made her happy.
I figure a kilt is an easy way by comparision.

I hope it will be a kited chicken suit - making the best of a bizarre situation!

I wear a kilt because:
- It's comfortable and I want to.
- It's much easier on me to put on a kilt than pants because of my bad leg.
- It's much easier to take off my kilt when I need to!
- It feels dressier than pants.
- I look damn good in it if I do say so myself.
- It helps reinforce the fact that I'm eccentric and damn proud of it.
- It makes me more memorable.
- Nopadon loves the way I look in a kilt.
- It's a great conversation starter.
- Most importantly, I like the kilt and I want to wear the kilt and I don't care what anyone else says.

Comfort, I sit for a living.
My Heritage.
And because I'm old enough I can do what I wanna.
But mostly comfort.

Comfort,
Nice and warm on a cold day,
Looks good,
Added bonus... it's not conforming to the "norms" and because I WANT TO!

Why do I wear the kilt?
For comfort? Yes. It's supreme.
They suit me? Oh yes.
Heritage? Ye-ess, but that's not a major factor since I have never been able to trace it.
Attention grabbers? Yes, they used to attract comment, but very seldom nowadays.
Anything else? I like the amazing and neverending choice of tartans, fabrics and the contemporary styles.
Is that it? Ummm - because I've nothing else to wear?
