I'm sorry you're having trouble with it, Hamish...the slideshow isn't automatic. Not to be rude but have you pressed the 'Play' button? The images you see are as big as they get with Kodak Gallery...maybe I should try something else?

    County Cavan kilt pics 1

Okay, for those of you having trouble viewing the slide show I posted a link to, here's some pics that you can view here at Xmarks instead:

    Watching the paint dry...

    Nice hang to those pleats...

    Nice swing, too...

A bit bright, but you can see the sett fairly well...

    County Cavan kilt pics 2

    And here's four more pics:

A little breezy but I like it that way...

A better view of the pleat-to-sett...

Seamus (left), Regan (middle) and me strolling along...

    Yeah, I know...that boy needs a tan!

Well, the kilt looked great laying on your kitchen table - and it looks even better on you! I just hope the delivery man doesn't forget to stop by my place tomorrow!

Mudd: Thanks for that. All-in-all, it doesn't matter to me what people say or do: I wear the kilt for me.

Phil: Thanks, mate. I sure hope that DHL guys shows up tomorrow with your Edgar masterpiece! BTW, I'm sure you'll out-shine me when you post pics of you in your own Cavan kilt. IMHO, you and Hamish are usually the most dapper gents who post to this forum...makes me sick.

Cinnabar: Thank you. I can't really answer your question since I don't personally know any native-born Scots.

The Co Cavan is a good looking tartan, and that was a quick turnaround Mac Sim! It's good a good drape to it by the looks, well done.

Great looking kilt! That works well as a companion to the FitzSimmons.

Thanks guys...Yes, there's a definite similarity between the two tartans; after all, the County Cavan tartan is one of two tartans that heavily influenced the design of the Fitzsimmons tartan. Here's a side-by-side comparison of the two:
