Watering hole in Africa - webcam action

I'm watching, well, listening right now in another window. It's nighttime in Botswana, so I hope that some animals will come to drink.

I haven't had any problems in IE7 or in Firefox3 [Windows XP and Vista] . Do you have the most recent RealPlayer installed?

I posted http://video.nationalgeographic.com/video/wildcamafrica/ yesterday as an up-to-date link.

You can hear some animals splashing around in there but the camera's not catching most of them. I've seen a few birds swim by, but the camera's focused more on the banks rather than the water. Still, the sounds are better than any Hollywood movie.

OK, you two are starting to worry me. What am I doing to my computers by using RP? I haven't had any problems with it in 3 or 4 years.

Real player is known as "Badware" heh. It is sort of like adware/spyware. It makes itself on home on your computer, and even tracks information on what you are watching/listening too. It is also full of ads etc. And it is a huge program compared to minimal programs. I do not know if is any different these days but thats how it used to be. I like VLC media player for most stuff, or quicktime. This is just matter of opinion, if you like it keep it.

Must be inconvenient that so much is coded for Real Player then, eh? I've used RP for years, and have never really had a problem. I like the recent plugin they have for downloading videos from youtube and the like.
