On a somewhat related note - I do like my mocker, but if I had known then what I know now, I would have chosen a different supplier.
who would you have chosen as a supplier?
i am partial to the UK survival and also for a nice casual kilt. any complaints about the uk survival other than their lack of stock and employees having no clue when they will make more jeesh

Well, if you have odd sizes like I do, having a custom fitted kilt is a Godsend.
Really, the difference is astounding. Being bowlegged, my kilts sort of fit funny... My Rkit has completely changed my kilting experience.
Sorry, but I am going to gush about this kilt for a long time. I want to offer my RKilt wine, song, and roses. Chocolates even. Even my wife loves it.

That's great, Dread! It's always good to have such a hearty and well-considered recommendation - as I said, had I known then what I know now... so thanks for helping folks to learn from your experiences!

My favorite lounging and running out kilts are my 5 yard PV kilts. Other than that it's whatever I have on already. In the winter I love my heavy regimental Gordon. O'Neille

If your looking at something as heavy as a UK then give Freedom Kilts a good look also. Steve will give you a lot more options than UK and his quality is top notch.
If you think you'll want to venture into the yard and need a kilt that can take a beating, FK has a lot of different solid fabrics to choose from. With 4 different models to choose from Steve's got you covered (literally ).
For something more relaxed and casual in PV, USA Kilts.
Stillwaters are great and inexpensive also but they will ride high on the waist which to me is not comfortable for lounging.
More times than not, I've got on my USAK around the house. I can be comfortable sitting on the couch or floor and still run out to the store and feel that I am "put-together".
