It was east of Thurso last time I was there!

Thanks for the photos Robertson - its a funny thing, I'm reading Desire Lines by David R Ross - its a good read that's essentially a historical/geological tour of Scotland. Right now I'm reading about the northeastern coastline so these photos help add some visual details to his vivid description.
By the way, his description of the Dumfries and Hawick area really helped me understand a couple of our members local haunts.

Great pictures, P1M! The weather looks fine. I'll second your advice on the movie "Local Hero"; I never tire of watching it. It has a good soundtrack by Mark Knopfler too.
