Wow, what an active bunch of folks we have here. Looks like I have quite a few Kilted Neighbors all around me here in NC. That's perfect. I hope to see some of you at the games in Greensboro, Grandfather Mtn, and maybe in Greenville SC. I will be the 6'2" Bald Scot sipping cool refreshments under the MacMillan tent. Drop by and see me if you are there. Thanks again for the warm welcome and I will post a pic of the kilt when it arrives. I just opened the mail and got my first pair of kilt socks today!!!! I can see what the previous post meant by the addiction. Looks like I need to do some more shopping now. Til then...
Welcome to the forum, Cherokeesix. As a teenager I washed and valeted 'planes for a local airline and besides their twin engined aircraft for scheduled routes, they operated a Pa-32 Cherokee 6 which was used for pleasure flights and aerial photography, and which I often got to fly in. In later years I became a private pilot and joined a group which operated an elderly Pa-28 Cherokee 180, but this has recently been sold. At the moment I'm hiring a Pa-28 Cherokee 161 Warrior for my flying; was flying earlier today. My username derives from having learned to fly on the Cessna 152.
