I'm glad you are participating in the website. I enjoyed the piece on kilts and several others.
A word to Mac users - if you have the Quicktime plug-in for WMV (Windows Media files), you can see the video by changing the viewer setting to that file type. I could only get it to work using Camino, not Safari, and with the WM setting. For some reason, Flash and Real Player would not work for me in either browser.

I've noticed most of this discussion is about the history, the wearin of the kilt, etc. What about how the wearers are percieved, and the some of the "trials and tribulations" of wearin. For example the comments made, and the all time favorite, peekers.

Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

Oy, Scotlandontv person:
you are welcome to use my slightly grainy video of me skiing in a kilt for your website if you like. Perhaps videos of folks using kilts in unusual settings would also be an interesting topic (skiing, carpentry, construction, rock climbing etc.).
Here's my video link:

That men do not learn very much from the lessons of history is the most important of all the lessons of history.

Sorry I did not see this post earlier.
First off Scotlandontv
I hope we here can help you out a wee bit and that we can all evolve together.
One thing that has struck me while reading this thread is that there has been no mention of Burns day, now I realize that it just happened, however it might be something for you to consider for next year.
Good luck in your future endeavours, anything that brings kilt wearing to the masses is a good thing in my books.
