I don't see how anyone could object to a lad who looks that sharp.

At the schools here they will not allow them at all.Had a friend in highschool wanted to wewar one for heritage day they refused saying it would cause to much uproar with students but offered to let him bring it.Sorry to me a kilt on makes much more of a statement than one folded up carried in a bag.Its great they even are letting him baby steps I quess are better than none at all.

yeah...joe aka kiltedcommando and i didnt really "ask" about wearing kilts we kinda joked with the administration and they had a good laugh, then one day we showed up in them and they were speechless, i guess they didnt expect us to show up in them...they did however tell us we had to have shorts/boxers on but never checked, but who would really want to

WOW I am glad that everyone is ok.
I wish your son all the best in school today. I am sure he will do great. But I would have to ask why the school said he could only wear it for the first 2 periods. This is just my opinion here but I would have to say that there is some discrimination going on there ? Sounds like the time the school called me because they heard my daughter saying grace over her lunch. The principle called me and asked me to come down to the school I said ok what’s this concerning ? He replied its about your daughter. That’s about all I could get out of him over the phone . I went down to the school and what I was told was a shock to me. He said that they don’t encourage prayer at the schools due to the varying religions. Then he told me that I needed to talk to my daughter about this matter and explain to her that she can not pray at school. I was furious . seems to me like the schools are getting a bit ridiculous with are there policies.

D'Argo looks great, and guid on him! Hopefully things will go over well at school.
As for the car fire, just so everybody got out OK....that's what *really* counts. I'm glad to hear everybody is fine.

Luckily they are not against religion here in our schools .We use to have a day where wed all meet and pray around the flag and they actually had bible clubs. They had a moment of silence couldnt call it prayer but they gave us the option to use that time for prayer if we wanted. But of course I do live in what they call the Bible Belt.

Heck with the car and all that, I justhope you're prepared for all the women following him home.
Once he discovers the power of the kilt, it's all over but the shoutin'.
