You Are Getting Very Sleepy . . .

Find a book about self-hypnosis. I recommend starting with a book over seeing a hypnotist because it's cheaper, you don't necessarily need help to start, and you're less likely to run into a quack.

Self-hypnosis can be very relaxing, and I believe it teaches you straight away what various forms of meditation hope you'll stumble upon with lots of practice. Seriously, they should teach this stuff to kids.

Besides the usually play with the kids or drinks with mates. I have found that trying to learn a musical instrument (fiddle right now) and being musically challenged is both frustrating and relaxing. My wife and I have decided that we want to have a good selection of musical instruments around the house to spark the interest of the kids.

Walking the dog has also helped a fair bit.

How about the bike, Raph? Not necessarily a hard ride, but maybe just an easy spin. When I get home from a stressful day at work, I get on the bike and the stress just melts away.

    Thanks for the reminder, Colin!

When my girls were little, I'd always play hide and go seek with them... what a great stress reliever that always was! Just to be able to "be little and play" for a while...

I don't know how to destress well but what I have found is talking with good freinds over coffee can be very theraputic, or using a heavy bag to vent all my frustrations on can work wonders when I feel what is bothering me can't be shared with others.
