    Heritage of Scotland

My first was an inexpensive polyviscose Heritage of Scotland tartan, probably made in Pakistan, that I got at the Stone Mountain games one year. It's not the best, but for some reason it feels comfortable to wear. I suppose that it's that I wouldn't mind getting it messed up.

My first was a Sport Kilt in black Stewart with sewn down pleats and belt loops.

    Now up to # 8!

Well, my first doesn't really fit in the three. It was a 5 yarder, handsewn. So, I just clicked the "tank" option.

My first was an off-the rack MacKenzie I bought at a Scottish festival a year or so before I found X-marks. I wore it to work today. I had previously found many kilts on line, but I wanted to try on an actual one before buying by mail order. I assumed (correctly) that the festival would be the place to look at various kilts and talk to vendors and owners before taking the plunge. My favorite, and best looking in my closet, is the "American Heritage" by Rocky at USA (Thanks again, Rocky). I also have a couple SK (US Navy and US Air Force) and a "Pride of Scotland" with no makers markings. I like the styling of the Utilikilt, but I prefer tartans over solid colors, thus do not have one in my collection.

My first will be a 16oz. box pleat in Lamont modern that I ordered from Matt Newsome. Still have a bit of a wait, but well worth it. Jonesing.

My first was a tan Utilikilt Original. I've recently gained just a bit of weight and it fits me again. Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing.

My first was one of the very first 4-yd PV kilts from Bear Kilts. I still wear it often.
