Wow! Really cool story! Lucky you to have a viable excuse to hang out in Scotland

I'm brand new myself, but at least you have kilt!

    Welcome!

    Morristown huh?

    Welcome.

I used to live in the "poor" part of Summit back in 1969-70 down by the river but not to far from Short Hills Mall. Bought a LOT of French wine at the delis in Morristown. Rode the old Erie Lackawana and the tubes into NYC for work.

A Utilikilt should be a hit in Scotland. I get a lot of Scottish tourists through my little town and they always remark about my Utilikilts when I'm wearing them...they know its a kilt, but they don't know its a kilt. Fun to explain it to them. Never a critical comment.

Sounds like you might not be too far from me: I'm in Montclair/West Orange, NJ. Drop me a private message and we'll see if we can get some NJ kilt nights going...
