Thanks Galician. I've been lurking around for a few months now, just haven't introduced myself yet.

Thanks for sharing Jeff, I just got an e-mail that my Union Kilt is "on the way" and I am pretty amped about getting it. I'd like to say I don't care what people think, but I think in a way we all do. I guess it is how we handle stupid( ignorant) people that defines us.
I think it s cool that you said you wore it to church, I told my wife I was going to do the same and she said "no way", so I have to do it. Luckily it is a contemporary Southern Baptist church and the preacher is also a Scot, so maybe I'll be starting something.
Thanks again Jeff.

My stars, hasn't she learned yet.

KC given your location, I'd be amazed if you're not pretty well surrounded by people of Scots extraction.

Looking good, Jeff. I have 4 Amerikilts including the tan. Really like them for hot summer days. Plus solid color kilts give you many options on shirts. I also have a black and a brown Amerikilt belt - they are top notch. Thanks for posting the pictures.

I have recently figured out that AK's look really good with traditional sporrans. I wear mine with my A_Hay sporran from time to time. Honestly, I prefer the way that looks to the way it looks with the cloth one it came with.

I've 2 Ak, one like yours and a black one. Here hwwere I live in Italy they are great for the summer, where a wool kilt is too heavy for he day.
It is a good everyday kilt and is good even for working and the price it is affordable and really good for the quality of the kilt!
Congrats!
