From New Hampster. David Dalglish beat me to it. Get a practice jacket from a thrift store.
I've done a conversion but never done cuffs. As a matter of fact a thrift store trip is on my agenda for today as Scottish attire has a nasty habit of size reduction as the years go by; others here will attest to that as well. Do a search and you'll get tons of info.

From the Mts. of Utah
I have found More jackets at the Deseret thrift store by Sears off State St, of course it might depend on the size of Jacket you are looking for.
Last jacket I got was brand new with the tags still on it All wool for $5 an it was a perfect fit.

Welcome from a few miles south of Utah. Be you a Cameron cousin?
You might wanna add this to your wish list. Cameron Black and Red from the House of Edgar's Old and Rare collection. 13 ounce. Kathy Lare over in Albuquerque sewed this baby up.

Taken at the Miner's Memorial in Ouray, Colorado...plaques list some of the guys I worked with in the old Red Mountain mine back in 1962.
