My deepest and heartfelt sympathy on the death of your mother.

I lost my mother over 10 years ago, she was very proud of her Scottish heritage and always made sure we kids knew her mother was of scottish descent. I wasn't into kilts or my heritage at that time in my life, I'm sure she would be very pleased to know that at least one of her children is proud of his Scottish heritage.

Sorry to hear about your Mother, wear what you and she would be happy with. I would probably go with black hose, matching flashes and a black tie.

I have attended two funerals kilted. The flashes I wore to those matched my tartan. I did wear a black tie.
