I have one black Iron Maiden shirt and one camo Exodus shirt. Guess I would wear them with a BK canvas...

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

I'm a 40y.o. who has gone through a series of 'looks' (Punk, rockabilly, psychobilly etc.) since my teens. Most of the time my kilt is teamed with a plain white or black tee, black docs and leather jacket or black bomber jacket.
I sometimes wear a Clash tee, or maybe even a Jackass tee or a Wallabies (Aust. Rugby Union) top.
I bought a pair of 11-hole combat boots recently, and have started wearing them with black hose, black flashes and "Officer" sgian dubh: the point of the sgian dubh sits just at the top of the boot, so it's really comfortable and I reckon it looks great.
Regards,
Troy

I sometime wear with high top chucks (black with red stitching) and my Metallica wardrobe and some Tyr shirts. but I will wear a kilt with everything.
I think the coolest thing that goes well with my new utilikilt is my ESP Explorer electric guitar.

I usually wear a Drop Kick Murphys T with my black denim kilt and black hose with green flashes and black work boots to their concerts. I have other assorted Ts to wear for other performances. I have a neat silver skull with a sword through it that I made into a kilt pin.

My daughter is into goth stuff and while she was at university she would encourage me to wear my black heavyweight wool kilt when I visited her and her friends.
More recently, about two years ago, I bought one of these cheap lightweight black polycotton goth kilts. It is very light and thin and really needs some sort of kilt liner worn under. It is slightly longer than a traditional kilt, hemmed to just about the bottom of the knee. I don't wear it out and about much but I did wear it once for a day trip to York where I got a friendly nod from a young goth guy who was wearing a similar kilt. For me it is more something I would want to have in my collection to tell the whole kilt story, rather than something I would wear regularly.

I'll wear my Clash or Joe Strummer t-shirts with my kilt when I go about casually.
