Welcome to the clan....from Ohio here. About the wife...why not get her a mini kilt in the same tartan and you can wear them together. That may help point her in the right direction.

Welcome to the forum, from Amelia County Virginia. As to how to get your wife to be more accepting of kilts. it's very easy. You get her to say, "You should get a kilt". That was 8 kilts ago, and although I think she may now regret saying that, she is still supportive.

My Wife encouraged me to get my first kilt but then she knew I was a character before we were married. I brought her to a Rendezvous and we were married in buckskins in a Tepee by a Shoshone Medicine Man.
