Congratulations Ray,
Getting published is no easy feat! Even more so in fiction, it's so subjective.
Good Job.

Synopsis ... Sure!

Jerry Maclachlan is just an average person with an average family in an average home. A very traumatic turn of events in his life leaves him to find out that his destiny has been changed dramatically, affecting everyone close to him that he loves and cares about.
Follow along as he seeks out ways to overcome the obstacles put before him in his quest to restore some control over his own life and ultimately his newfound destiny."
There ya go, right off the back of the book. Any more would be giving the plot away!
Well, OK, just a little more background ...
Jerry Maclachlan and his wife Kristen are just your average married couple. One child is married with children and their youngest is away at college. He just wants to do a few things on spring break when a traumatic event occurs in his life. The cover art suggests what has happened to him, BTW. This event almost spirals out of control on him while he tries desperately to regain control of his life. It eventually affects everyone close to him while he takes this wild, uncontrolled ride towards a new destiny.
Just a little more, for my X-Marks friends.
The cover shot is available HERE to tease you just a bit. I'm going to check to see if it's now available at B&N today. It's at Amazon.com right now for internet ordering. There are a few that are reselling my book already (!) so make sure if you order, get it from Amazon, not a reseller at a higher price.
BTW, I did the cover art for my novel, more or less. Here's the story; My publisher said that unless I provided some suggestion as to what I wanted, they would use their own discretions for my cover art. I did the drawing based on a photo of myself and the Little Celtic Dancer. I had no idea that they would use it as-is! That blew my mind! They added the colors around the artwork, that's all.
