So far I've been lucky. And, it's not easy to prepare oneself in a port-a-can at a Highland games/festival.

In a port-a-can there is no hook on the door. I just roll it up and hold it in my lap.

    Thanks guys.

For sure I know all the techniques....but....I was in a hurry...simple as that...in my hurry I apparently didn't grab all of the backside to hold up...and in my hurry I didn't look close at the seat...though hopefully it was a "bowl dip" into clean water that caused that.

Whatever, the kilt washed up well, was due anyway, and is currently hanging from last nights hang dry.

Laugh, enjoy, but slow down and watch out or it could happen to YOU...or YOU....or You....

Yes I'm laughing and thinking "there but for Grace go I".

Don't worry we are all allowed to have a few dozen or so of those in a life time.

Doesn't that mean removing one's belt AND sporran AND kilt? It sounds like a job which one doesn't always have the room and convenience to do outside the home.

Indeed, however through experience of many rugby weekends, many countries and much beer/guinness this is the ONLY way to do it.

I have to agree with this. Now I have never done the port a john thing, but any normal bathroom with indoor plumbing it is still three easy steps.

Ron, I am not laughing, I feel for you, glad everything came out in the wash.

No! Things get stolen off of door hooks. Take it off and wrap it around your shoulders like a shawl.
