Thanks Jock, I had no idea that there was snow in the UK.

That's a beautiful picture, Jock. Thanks.
(Weren't the locals worried about all the sunshine? Afraid that they'd offended the gods.)

This, nearly local,is highly delighted to see the sun after one of the wettest winters I can remember,I said that about the previous winter too!WE,me really, like the rain to come in a fairly constant amount, during the summer, so that the salmon will "run" up the rivers. A week between storms would be nice though!Still,we have to get our annual 200 odd inches of rain in sometime, I suppose.

Well done there Jock. You created a bigger response than the group of photos I posted of Caithness and Sutherland.

I'm afraid that was partly due to Arlen and me hijacking Jock's thread for a few posts - for which, Jock, I apologise!!
Take care,
Ham.

No apologies needed, its all good fun.My photography skills, just like my computer skills, are fairly thin on the ground.I am delighted that the picture of The Ben has given people a wee bit of pleasure.I really enjoy this section of the website.

Jock, do you mind if I use this picture as my desktop background?
It's one of the better pictures of the Ben I've seen.

Not as good a shot of Ben Nevis but after the comments of never seeing it without fog/mist, this was taken early May last year (2007):

Perfect blue sky.
