    Quite alright. I was just kidding around, more than anything.

    Is the sgian in the pic you have up now made of stag bone, or is it some synthetic material? It looks a bit off, in the picture. Perhaps it has just been sanded quite a bit?

    I hate to say what it is: it is indeed stag horn and wood. It is not a Comrie Crafts one though. It's a knock off of Comrie. My knife maker told me that Comrie is rather imitated.

    Never matched.

    nope...the "sussen" is handled by von sussen inc. which is an sca sutler...thier sgian has a plastic handle that sorta looks like horn, but costs under $20...the sheath is pressed instead of carved and is laced with plastic lace...NOT CUSTOM! but seviceable if u don't mind pakistani stainless. personally i'd save my pennies for the Caulfield.

    The sgian dubh in the photo is indeed a Comrie Crafts production and is not connected to any other company.
