Yes, that one IS wool (16 oz. as-a-matter-of-fact.) I think the Marton Mills part through Ron. They make wool tartan there too, Ron.

Yes indeedie, that is nicely finished 16oz worsted wool tartan, I believe from Marton Mills. I say that because there are only two mills licensed to make the IoS doing so in 16oz, Marton Mills and Lochcarron, and the marton fabric I have in another kilt has the same fabric feel, just slightly more coarse than my expensive Strathmore Forrester Modern, but not enough to be really noticeable and certainly not enough to keep me from ordering or wearing it. Just maybe a quarter notch down from the feel of the finest wool tartan I have had my hands on. And still just as beautiful and plush in color and hues.

But no doubt, this is 16oz wool.

Yes, notice on his post he said it is 16 oz material. MM does make wool fabric Ron.

OK JMercier, you can enter the clubhouse. Grant, you can look through the window.

The PV is just as nice guys,MM did a fabulous job on the PV, the tartan is a little smaller because of the weight but looks just as good I think.
