We had another great Relay in Coquitlam, BC on Saturday.
I decided to wear a pedometer just to see how much I ended up walking. From 9 am to 9 pm, I walked 30,887 steps or 36.77 kms. Our team raised over $6,000 and the total event was somewhere around $750,000+ for cancer research and support.
The survivor's lap was piped around the track by the Seaforth Highlander cadets so their were a few kilts. The relay takes place in the same venue that will host the BC Highland Game sin 3 weeks, so the anticipation was sparked.
