But there is the Old Westbury Highland Games at the end of August (the 23rd?)...easily done by the LIRR (40 mins.) and I'm sure that the LI boys will be there, not to mention pipe bands, kilties, and kilt vendors!
And the gardens and mansion themselves are worth the short trip...

True, but getting to the LIRR is a trip in and of itself for many of the other people who have been coming. In fact, the Joysey crowd has been totally silent of late.
