I don't care if it's not wool. I'm only 20, I can get the tanks and really nice wool kilts later. But I do want an SWK standard.

Yes, I wear mt Stillwaters on formal occasions, No one's going to know unless they are kilt experts and actually get up real close and start fingering the merchandise.

I like my SWKs. Inexpensive, good quality, spectacular customer service… how can you go wrong!?
And their wool kilts are really great. It's what I wore to my senior prom, and I have it on good authority that I was the best dressed person in attendance.

I love the standard I have. I'm waiting for Jerry to get more Irish Nationals in my size so I can get another. Then maybe a Nightstalker.

My Nightstalker looks even better in person. Am hoping SWK expands their range of Tartans. I pretty much have one of everything.

I own two SWK Standard kilts. They feel just a bit lighter than a tank in 13oz wool and about the same as a tank in 11oz wool. The swish is nice and I love the fact that the SWK is much easier to clean than a tank.
I used to buy nothing but tanks, but have since learned that the SWK is a very ice kilt for the money.
Think about it this way, other garments come in all manner of materials. So, why not have a kilt in materials other than worsted wool? Tanks are nice, but I wouldn't want to wear a tank while doing gardening work.
