That looks like a great time. Makes me want to travel to attend one year.

Yes, I believe that a company or two were there.
The fort isn't on the same spot, due to flooding, etc. The recreation is pretty cool. I haven't been to any events there.

Robert - outstanding photos!
I have never really understood the re-enactment 'thing' - it presses none of my buttons - but I must say that in this case the re-enactors present an attractive and authentic-looking spectacle ......... although the Cardinal appears to be wearing very modern shoes!!
