Beautiful, a credit to your unit for sure sir.

Best photo of the RRS kilt I've seen so far, thank you for that.

I pine for a pleat shot though.....

My congratulations also. I was attached to 4RGJ back in the '60's so I know just how much time and effort goes into your work in the TF. It is great to see those who really believe in honour, duty.

Although 2 of you can fit in my 1 kilt,
I'm positive the 1 of you can kick 2 of me anytime sir.

Sharp looking Scottish Soldier as I've seen.

    Thanks for sharing!

Looking very, very smart! Great that you got to pick that up so you don't have to share the Kilt out.
    P.S.
Good luck on that third medal, and thank you for serving!

And what about the so called new 'government tartan' that the RRS is supposed to start wearing now, it is similar to the black watch but is 2 shades of blue.

    Any time frame for that?

    Jock~
You wear the uniform well, sir! Quite handsome! I feel proud just looking at your pics!

Re: SF everywhere... With respect to the fine members/veterans of the USMC, I've met only about 40% of Marines who did not claim to have been Recon. The USMC is enough of an elite organization that men shouldn't claim Recon. No, I'm not Marine bashing; every branch has these guys. It just seems that in my experience almost every Marine I meet was Recon. I've turned it into the same sort of joke. The grunts & mechanics have every right to be proud of their service in an outstanding institution.
