That is a far sight better than what I came up with while doing my firs sgian. Congrats its positively beautiful. You are a wonderful craftsman.

if the joint between bolster and wood ever fails, you might try tapping in a flattened piece of nickle silver or brass wire...but i hope it holds...it's a beutiful piece

This is an old thread but I came across it in a search and I wanted to say that your knife is just beautiful, and it's one of the very few sgians I've ever seen that I'd actually wear.
