We don't get a lot of snow in Texas, so it's always nice when somebody posts good snow photos.

According to the (French) province in wich they are played, the very same instrument is called by different names:

- cornemuse du Centre
- musette du Centre
- musette berrichonne
- grande boubonnaise

1 1/2 octave (overblowing); 1 shoulder drone + a small drone next to the chanter (on a common box shaped stock).

Maybe you shoul open a "show us your pipes" thread

with photos and all...
