Well, thanks to eBay, I've already gifted myself (no gift-giving in the family this year) a new (to me) MacDonald military weight kilt and couple pair of host tops, and my collection of kilted dogs will be complete soon, so ...
I wish to have the kilt that I'm working on now to be done and in the mail by Christmas. Delivered by Christmas would be even better.
It is the season for giving, after all.

I have always joked (semi-seriously) that I would like to see Peace in my lifetime. Since I don't suppose this will happen, maybe a new sporran or a balmoral. And a clan crest. But peace and health for the world's children are still on the top of my list.
Always the dreamer.

Actually, I hoping that the family will ask...I really want a longbow.

I had an uncle that lost an eye to a bow/arrow. Doesn't really pop out, but goes in, but gets puled out with the arrow. He had a glass eye from it, became a carny, and a drunk, which I can not be sure are separate things, to tell the truth... He was an interesting fellow.

Argonian, as a longbowman since the 70's, I heartily applaud your desire!
In fact the only "cross words" I've had with my elder son in lo, these many years, was when he let slip that the deer he took last year (in Virginia, where he resides), was from a tree-stand, with a compound bow!
As I taught that lad all his basic woodskills, and none had involved aluminum or fiberglass or pulleys, I was indignant!
But I'm also getting off-track, though, aren't I?
For Xmas, I would be greatly relieved, and grateful, if the Mrs. & I could score some health insurance! (Our employees have it but we don't!)

All I want for Christmas is for my friends and family to have a safe and happy holiday season. (especially my niece and nephew) After looking at my bank statement, and all the wrapped gifts in my closet, I think that might happen.
Have a great holiday X-marks members!!

The mistake there was expecting that we would wish for only kit related things. The rabble are very individual, and many think deeply.
I wish for peace in my own little world, and the rest of it as well.
And maybe some really cool hose. Or a tweed jacket that truly fits me.

On my actual Christmas list I put the High Kings Live in Dublin and Celtic Thunder the Show DVDS.
On my dream kilt wish list is a "tank" in the Clergy Tartan.
On my non-kilt wish list is to continue to be molded by God into the man and minister he would have me be.
