Will I be wearing a kilt? Does Vegas have a surplus of Elvis imitators?

I may be attending our St. Andrew Society Hogmanay get-together in my Macduff Red Modern (thanks, Rocky!), a PC/waistcoat and handmade hose a friend made me for my birthday. Extenuating circumstances may keep me from attending, but if they do, I'll still be kilted at home.

Let's see just got a new PC, new Royal Stewart 16 oz kilt and you ask if I'm going to wear it? Naw. I'll just stay home and drink a beer....Of course I'll wear it!

Gentlemen,
Longtime reader, but this is my very first post ever. On this exact topic, I am in dire need of assistance.
i.e.: HELP!!!
I am located in coastal/eastern North Carolina. I have a magnificent custom-fitted Tewksbury 8-yard box pleat Leatherneck tartan kilt that I wanted to debut for NYE this year.
As of yet, I've no sporran. This simply will not do.
I do have an acceptable belt or two that I could make work for an evening out, but with no sporran it's like... well, like shrimp without the grits. Just not even worth trying to pull off, even around here where nobody would really notice.
I am looking for, in this order:
1) Any kind soul within 3-4 hours' drive who would be willing to lend me any sort of sporran, semi-dress or nicer. Cash and/or collateral would be posted until return of said sporran.
2) Any damn place within 3-4 hours' drive (think Wilmington, Raleigh/Durham, Fayetteville or anywhere in that radius) where I could walk in and buy a sporran that is actually worth paying money for.
I realize this is very late notice, I realize that it's entirely my problem. I also realize that this seem a bit suspect, to say the least... but I do believe my longtime friend and brother Marine, Kid Cossack, will vouch for my honesty, integrity, and sincerity. He will also likely vouch for my ability to procrastinate.
That said... anyone have any ideas?
(P.S. - Franklin, NC is a good 7 hours' drive from here; no good for a round trip AND a night out drinking.)

I'm going to a New Years get-together with our Renfaire crew, Clan McLotofus. It's a 'garbed' event so of course I'll be kilted. I'm sure this event will provide many interesting photo ops!

I'll be working; dealing with drunks, domestic disputes, and thugs firing off their guns around midnight all over the city.
Oh, how I love working New Year's.

I'll be piping two NYE gigs tonight; a good way to end 2008 and start off 2009; with some cash in my sporran.

Sure it will; Irish Army and Air Corps pipers rarely wear sporrans. Go on; wear your kilt.

Sounds like NYE when I was a paramedic in South St. Pete. Contrary to conventional wisdom, our worst holiday was always Independence Day, hands down.
