Thanks for the vote of confidence, Aldoisimo. I know, I've just been reading that thread that you re-threaded back in August -- how could I have missed that.

Oh... You're making a box pleated kilt... Sounds like you might have enough for two kilts...
What are your plans?
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Yes - a box-pleated kilt (uses less material). My friend who commissioned me to make it, lives in Florida now and wants it to be as light as possible because of the weather. He told of me of the beartartan.com website. But since he actually wanted a lightweight one, I asked Steve (The Wizard of BC) if he could order it in PV. It's not currently available in PV. With copyright and all, I'm glad that Chris is providing fabric yardage now, in heavyweight wool.
If there's enough remaining material, I meant to make the second kilt for myself (mm, mmm . Although I had asked that same friend if he'd be able to find another person who might be interested in a second box kilt. **Perhaps you, Aldisimo (and others) can talk about combining forces to make something possible** Being from AZ and TX, a box kilt would be more appropriate for your kind of weather. Send me a PM, let's talk. It would be an honor if you (and others) ask me to create a kilt for you with the Bear Tartan.
It would be awesome if I had the means to get another yardage of it so I can create a double-box pleat of the Bear Tartan. That would be oh so nice.

I will keep that in mind, and watch your progress on this current project.

Continued congratulations!!!
When I first set eyes on this tartan I immediately thought of a lovely hike. This tartan just makes me think of the mountains.
Can't hardly wait to see how it makes up.
Again congrats.
