I have ten that I wear with varying degrees of regularity, from very casual to tanks, two more that I will never wear again, two on the way to replace them, and I'm working on three more in my mind.

44, but only 13 of them are serious 8-yard wool kilts.
The remainder are 5-yarders, or various acrylic knock-offs, modern style kilts or other MUGs.

One. I only wear my kilt as family heritage. I have considered an all black,Black Watch or other non clan-specific tartan but I don't have any desire to wear kilts of other clans. I may at some time, when funds allow, pick up a "knock around" MacDonald variant or Clergy tartan. I would like to know what you all refer to as "tanks". Especially since I read one post of his tanks being 20 & 22 oz. kilts.
