I'm not sure I like them better, but I do like them... and lads, that isn't lime green (on my monitor), more olive. It's old-school Boy Scout green which rather appeals to me.

I would pick the green for day wear, but for a formal outfit: definitely the red. So the customer really needs to buy one of each! Now that I think about it, that is the universal answer to hose questions, is it not?

    Orange.. And here's why:

I like it better than the green.. That's as technical as I get.

I like the orange, myself. I must say that these remind me of tartan topped shooting socks and I picture these being worn with a tweed jacket and muskrat sporran rather than with a dinner jacket and black tie... I should think full tartan or diced hose would be the better choice for formal wear. Just my pennyworth!

You are, of course, correct. But sometimes a gentleman's sense of "style" moves him just a smidgen away from the rest of the herd. Now whether this stylistic statement is driven by personal eccentricity or financial considerations matters not. What counts is that it looks good (and it is certainly different), and it is
    VASTLY SUPERIOR
    to the ubiquitous white socks.

Josh, if you can get to a practice session of the Atlanta Pipe Band, that is the tartan they wear. Might find another outlet for additional sales as well.

I'd also vote for the orange. However, I have to ask... if you are making these for someone else, why not ask him which he would prefer?

I prefer the orange hose, with the green coming in a close second!

I would say the orange, however, I think the green was a close second.

I think either color hose would look great. It would depend on what I was planning on wearing above the waist, which color I would choose.

Is this a new style of hose you will be offering? I wouldn't feel bad wearing them with my logger boots, like I would wearing my full tartan hose. By the way, I like the cabled ribs on the orange ones.
