You know, Riverkilt, I've thought about getting a Celtic design ponytail clasp. Do you wear those?
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Aye Ted, have worn them, but gave them up...the arrangements are so difficult and require those thin hair bands with metal that cut through hair...went back to just plain old bands.

I am really really surprised here...recognize that most posts have been from the cold climes...but no one, even from the warm parts of the world....I know a lot of us wear sandals with kilts in the hot weather...have seen many pics of it.

    Never would have thunk it...

I'd wear sandals with mine in the summer but I just don't have a lot of jewelery. Never really thought about it. I think I picked that up from my dad. He's never wore anything beyond a wedding band. Once that ring decided to go for a swim it was never replaced and he never wore another bauble after that.

Unless you want to count pins from all the archery rendezvous that he has been to. He's got a quiver full of em.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

No toe ring for me. I've always thought of a toe ring as strictly for the ladies. In fact, I've never seen a toe ring on a man and this thread is the first time I've heard of it. OTOH, I had both my ears pierced back in the 80s when it was extremely rare on a man so I'm not one to gender stereotype when it comes to fashion. In any case, I don't think I'd find it comfortable.

But that's the wedding ring isn't it?

I wear whatever footwear seems comfortable at the time, whether kilted or not. But toe rings (to me anyway) just don't go on a guy. It could also be that I don't need any more attention brought to my feet, playing soccer for years kinda beat them up.
