Welcome
A warm sunny welcome from the High Desert of Southern California!

BTW, what tartan does Santa wear? St Nicholas or Claus?

The first answer: My family hales from Scotland this is true. Now we are searching to verify which of the following we can link our lenage directly to:
a Ketal de Sudtone lived in Lincolnshine and recorded in the Domesday book
in 1086. Geoffrey de Suttone lived in Huntingdonshine in 1273 and a Johnannes de Soutton appears in the Poll Tax records in Yorkshire in 1379.
There was also one Maviot de Sutton of Dunfriesshire who rendered homage
in 1296.
Most indicators say that I'm a Galloway man. Dunfries keeps coming up more and more. Maybe some day I'll know for sure.
New info states that in the ancient spelling: the "Seton Clan" was linked to the House of Edgar in Wexford County, and the "Clan MacNaughton".
Second answer I live near Leesburg Florida in a very small community called Astatula. All are welcome!
Joly
