    Sorry -- I didn't connect the dots.

Yeah, t-shirt, kilt and bare feet aren't unusual on a lazy weekend around Rancho de la Phoggy.

Y'know, though, wearing a kilt without a bunch of other accessories might send a message: that the kilt is just another article of clothing. It's not just something you wear when you're piping or when the Highland games are in town. They're a very viable (and comfortable) alternative to pants.

Problem is, I can't see going out with a sporran. Where would I keep my stuff?

Thanx for the pix of you in your Birks. I'll wear mine at home, around the house, but as of yet have not ventured kilted very far with them on. For me there is an at home look, like coming home after school and changing into my kilt, some sloppy hose/socks and my Birks and a going out in public look, which for me is a tad more dressy: hose, garter ties, lace up shoes, sporran, etc. but still very casual.

    Red Beard,

Since Rex was able to help you out I removed all the posts with your attempts.

FYI: Next time use the "EDIT" button at the bottom of your post and try modifying your image code instead of posting a bunch of new ones )

    Cheers

I've got several in my "Album of Shame." I think there are a couple of me wearing a Nightstalker with an Iron Maden shirt, but I usually save the tartan for plain casual and dressier.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

This was my ultra casual look for around the house today. (It was my day off.)

I'm in my x-kilt (with newly made and attached pockets) and Whistler t-shirt. (I'm only wearing the belt because I placed the velcro a bit too far from the corner of the over apron.)
