Yesterday, Mother's Day, in honor and memory (she passed away two years ago May 2) of my Mother, Maxine Wallace, I wore my Wallace kilt to visit my Dad in the assisted living facility where he now resides. Dad is now 91, a WW II vet, will be 92 in July. He enjoyed seeing my first kilt (just had it since March '09). My sister liked it as well. So did some of the other residents. A couple of ladies stopped to ask me or guess the name of the tartan.
After getting back home about 11:45, I enjoyed reading through the posts from around the world welcoming me to the this Forum. Thanks, glad to be here. I'm just a neophyte to the Kilt World and this Forum.
